About Our Chapter

Our Indian Creek chapter was established in 1993 and has been a strong chapter ever since. We are very involved in our community, section and state. The chapter hosts and attends many events throughout the year that showcases the great students, alumni and community members that work within our local organization. The students perform very well within their career development events (CDE) and supervised agricultural experiences (SAE). They are young leaders who strive to help their community and state to become a more improved place to live.

"FFA is the way to go,

But first you've got to meet Ms. Herrmann in the Ag Depo.

You'll find out she's real nice,

She'll buy you food, like a pizza slice.

The food isn't the best part of it all,

It's the things you'll do at CDE's that'll make it a ball.

From milk, to grass, to even judging a lamb,

You'll think that FFA is a slam.

Being a greenhand can be hard,

But one thing you don't have to learn about is lard.

Soon you'll see the impact of it all,

When you  the watch fields in the fall.

And watching the committee give their time,

and listening to the report at chapter meeting time.

With Cody and James shouting out the agenda,

and Mr. Olson drinking his coke with Splenda.

Now don't you see FFA can be good?

It's like we have our own hood.

With the alumni, committees, & officers here,

We can all show our gold & blue cheer,

At the fairs we go in the summer.

Showing our best but sometimes leaving with a bummer,

But that's all right, because when our checks come.

We will realize we actually get some money,

now, let's back up go spring where it's the busiest,

and all the offciers get the dizziest.

With banquets and degrees up the wall,

There is a wonder what isn't in the hall.

Sorry I wasted your time,

With this good rhyme!"
